    Matcha Lip Balm Recipe

Everyone seems to be mad about matcha - am I right? From delicious-tasting lattes and smoothies to beautiful green-coloured, fluffy desserts, this ingredient has been embraced around the world. So we jumped on the bandwagon with a simple, nourishing way to care for your lips... check out our natural Matcha Lip Balm recipe.

Infused with antioxidant-rich matcha green tea powder, this balm helps protect and soothe dry, chapped lips while delivering a subtle, earthy touch. It’s perfect for anyone seeking a natural, handmade alternative to store-bought products.

This recipe is designed for use in tube-style packaging.

     Ingredient Amount Description
Beeswax 3g Humectant, skin softening, provides solidity

Jojoba oil 16g Rich in vitamins, highly protective
Shea Nut Butter 4g Softening, smooths & relieves chapped skin
Carnauba Wax 3g Protective, provides excellent solidity

    7.5mL Anti-oxidant, softening, soothing & healing

Step 1: Combine Carrier oils, Beeswax & Carnauba wax in glass vessel. Stirring gently with a spoon, heat to approximately 85°C. Waxes will have melted to a clear liquid.

Step 2: Allow to cool for 2 minutes, gently stirring. Add Shea Nut butter and stir, butter will melt quickly

Step 3: Add Vitamin E, Essential oils and Matcha Powder, mix thoroughly. Try to avoid
    Matcha Powder forming lumps.

Step 4: Once mixed, pour balm into tubes and allow to cool slowly to room temperature.

Makes approximately 5 x 10mL tubes of lip balm.
