Looking for perfect school holiday activities? A Sage Natural Skincare Workshop is a great way to keep your tween or teen entertained... they won't even realise that they are learning while they make a whole swag of beautiful products.

Polly and I both have school-aged children and we understand the battle that comes every school holidays... how do we keep them entertained? Of course there are the obligatory trips to the movies, the zoo or aquarium, Flip Out and Time Zone... but once you've exhausted those options and you've juggled days between friends and grandparents, we have the answer!

Our School Holiday Skincare Making Workshop is an excellent activity for kids aged 8 and above. The 6 hour session kicks off at 9am and runs all the way through til 3pm so it's the same length as a normal school day... but it doesn't feel like school for our guests!

Over the course of the day we make 5 different all-natural skincare products. We discuss each of them in detail... talking about the ingredients, how they are produced and how they benefit the skin. We also discuss ways to modify the products if you were to make them again at home. 

We love to instil the notion of self-care and the importance of looking after your complexion... even from a young age. We want to encourage people to take the time to care for themselves and support healthy skin naturally. 

Each product has a detailed formulation to follow so we manage to hide some reading comprehension and even a bit of maths into the process... but don't tell the kids! They won't even realise that they are developing skills while they make their products... they'll be having too much fun measuring, mixing and pouring.

To finish off the day we spend some time coming up with branding ideas and even through in a bit of marketing theory to inspire potential new skincare entrepreneurs.
