Emotional & spiritual benefits
Tea Tree is a refreshing and revitalising essential oil that truly awakens the senses. It can be useful after a surprise or shock to bring you back to the present. Its medicinal characteristic cleanses the atmosphere and is strongly reminiscent of the Australian bush, which promotes feelings of nostalgia for locals.

Cosmetic benefits
Whilst not a traditional aroma for skincare products, Tea Tree provides superior skin cleansing benefits. It can be useful for normal, oily or combination skin types. Its antiseptic properties help to clear spots, blemishes and may assist with skin infections. It is a popular natural remedy for flaky feet and scalps. It is often included in natural essential oil first aid kits for minor wounds and infections.

Formulation types
Tea Tree is particularly useful for teenage skin preparations including cleansers, toners and light moisturisers. It can be used for spot treatments, healing balms and salves, soaps, handwashes, foot powders and scalp tonics. In essential oil blending, Tea Tree is usually used for its Australiana scent.
