Jojoba oil 100mL

Jojoba oil 100mL

Botanical name
Simmondsia chinensis

Cold pressed

Plant part

Jojoba oil is unique in that its molecular composition classifies it as a wax and not an oil, despite its fluid state. This structure gives it stability and a long shelf life, making it an excellent carrier.

Cosmetic benefits
Jojoba oil is a fantastic moisturising oil as it is highly compatible with skin sebum. It balances oils in the skin, regardless of skin type. It is easily absorbed and deeply penetrating, leaving a soft and supple complexion. It is commonly used in anti-ageing, dry and sensitive skin preparations, but is also suitable for oily and problem skin. It is soothing and nourishing, helping to calm irritated and angry skin. Jojoba can also be incorporated in haircare formulations to encourage strong, healthy locks.

Formulation types
Jojoba is often used directly on the skin as an oil treatment for fine lines and wrinkles. It is recommended for a wide range of skincare formulations including creams, serums, face masks, haircare, soap, balms, aftershave, facial and massage oils.

% Use in formulation
Can be used at 100% or part of a formulation.
